We have now changed the company’s name to KATHREIN TechnoTrend to reflect a strategic reorientation to a focus on the operator market for medium-sized cable, satellite and IPTV providers. KATHREIN’s exceptional success has resulted from its ability to generate value through outstanding technology and service performance, especially to fixed and mobile operators worldwide.
KATHREIN TechnoTrend (KTT) has restructured its product range to meet operators’ technical and pricing requirements. KTT applies a strict, cost-efficient modular architecture based on state-of-the-art chipsets and components and a newly streamlined supply-chain structure.
KTT’s own HAL and middleware solution allows operators to choose between a range of their own or leading third-party middleware providers such as Beenius (BeeSmart), Zappware and Ocilion, with whom KTT has signed strategic alliances.
KTT can thus provide you with a broad range of hardware and middleware combinations that meet your current and future challenges in deploying PayTV, On Demand and Catch-UP TV services, multiscreen and multiroom features and integrated SmartTV platforms (incl. HbbTV).
In recent months, KATHREIN TechnoTrend has gradually developed from a hardware engineering company into a middleware integrator and software house for converging services in the hybrid world – beyond broadcasting and towards interactive OTT and cloud-based solutions.
As an SME, we use our strengths in customization and innovation while having the advantage of being part of the multinational KATHREIN Group. We have a dedicated sales and after-sales organization, financial strengths and commercial commitment.
